CEO
BETH MONDOR
Company co-founder Beth Mondor had no woodworking experience when Valley Custom Cabinets first started crafting cabinetry in the basement of her home. As the business grew, Beth found herself more and more involved until it became a full-time job.
Eventually, she purchased her co-founders’ share of the business and joined with Jeff Germain in a new limited-liability partnership, founded in 1995.
Beth handles all the finances, marketing, and also stains and finishes all of the cabinetry. Beth enjoys the creative process of working with customers and other trades people to make products that people use and appreciate on a daily basis. Everything she knows she’s learned through hands-on experience and the guidance of her fellow craftspeople in the shop. Beth’s finishing experience is on display in every finished product. When you feel that smooth finish, you’ll know it is Beth’s handiwork.
Beth lives in New Richmond and grew up in Star Prairie. She has lived in the area all of her life. She has two sons; Josh and his wife Megan, live in Richfield, Minnesota and Trevor lives in Somerset Wisconsin. She loves spending time with family, camping, going on walks and brainteaser puzzles.
Cabinet Designer
JEFF GERMAIN
Jeff received his introduction to woodworking in junior high shop class. However, for Jeff, the experience was enough to keep him interested, and build his career in the cabinet industry. He took classes in cabinetmaking and construction during high school, and then continued his training with a two-year “Wood Technology” degree at WITC in Rice Lake, WI. Jeff says his fascination with the trade lies in the satisfaction he gets from turning a piece of nature into a functional and appealing product.
In 1992, Jeff joined Valley Custom Cabinets. Today, he is the company’s cabinet designer, estimator, and sales contact, meeting with clients to determine the right solutions for their space, décor and budget.
Jeff enjoys staying on top of the latest techniques and materials so that he can offer clients exactly what they’re looking for. The best part of his job, he says, is exceeding customer's expectations and seeing the positive reaction when the project is complete.
Jeff lives in Somerset Wisconsin with his wife, Jennifer, his two daughters, Brooklyn and Isabel, and son, Matthew. They have two cats, Moore and Caramel. Jeff has six brothers and one sister. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and many other outdoor activities.
